The tears roll down her cheeks,
theyre hot against her cool cheek
it feels like theyre burning a pattern onto her flesh
as her eyes blur then clear
splash splash they hit the desk
forever marking the wood and her soul
the mark of her sorrow, her fear
She cant fight them
theyve taken all she had
the song changes, so loud now
to hide the sobs that wrack her body.
Noone must know how she cries when shes alone
her only company her burning tears and regrets.
Her life dies a little with every splash

i wrote it when i was feeling really down and depressed, actually crying at the time. i typed it into my journal but now im submitting it bcoz i feel like it
